
Rules and Regulations
Please refer to your contract

1. If you stay on your vessel more than 3 days in a 7 day period and it is not a major holiday, you are in violation of your dockage agreement. Except for customers with live aboard agreement. Using a boat as an office is prohibited unless you have a liveaboard agreement.
2. Vessel owner shall comply with all applicable statutes, ordinances, and regulations of duly constituted federal, state, and local authorities.
3. No electric dehumidifiers shall be permitted to be used at any time; failure to comply will result in termination of Dockage Agreement.
4. All vessels shall be operable under its own power and be seaworthy and maintained in good and safe condition.
5. Boat owner’s guests must be accompanied by boat owner at all times. Only if marina owners have given permission in advance, may a guest be unaccompanied by boat owner.
6. Vessel owners shall not store or leave equipment, materials, debris, personal property, lines, chains or flammable products on the dock or fingers.
7. No dogs or other animals allowed on the premises unless approved by ownership. All animals must be kept on leash at all times.
8. Customer shall not make any alterations or additions to the premises without owner’s prior written consent in each and every instance. This shall include, but not limited to, telephone service lines, steps, satellites, etc. Marina owner shall not be liable for any repairs, alterations or additions performed by customer or customer’s contractor.
9. Minor maintenance and emergency repairs are permitted only when proper safeguards are used to prevent damage to or defacing of the dock or fingers. In no event shall the repairs or maintenance cause any harm to the water of the harbor or environment and shall not increase utility use.
10. Any damage to or defacing of the dock or fingers by the vessel owner, contractor, guest, invitee or visitor shall be repaired at the vessel owner’s expense.
11. Children shall not be permitted on the docks or fingers without the presence of their parents or other responsible adults and shall, at all times, wear proper life vests if under the age of 14 years.
12. Management reserves the right to board any vessel at any time for health, safety, and welfare or to protect property and public peace.
13. The discharging of any trash, petroleum products, solvents, flammable material, trash or any other items which may cause harm to the bay or the environment is strictly prohibited. Violators will be responsible for any fines imposed by local, state or federal authorities.
14. Any vessel, which sinks at its slip or dock, shall be removed by the vessel owner at vessel owners’ expense. If vessel owner is unwilling or unable to remove vessel within 48 hours, management reserves the right to remove the vessel at vessel owner's expense.
15. All vessels shall be secured to the dock or fingers in a good protected and seaman like manner. All lines and mooring gear shall be kept in good condition. Boat must be secured so the bowsprit does not overhang on the walkway. In no event, shall the vessel or any accessory of vessel shall block any portion of the walkway.
16. No awnings, radio or television aerials or projections, cabinets, lockers or any other structures shall be constructed on any dock or fingers. Steps used for access to vessel shall not be wider than one half of finger width.
17. The use of toilet facilities on any vessel when parked in a slip or harbor is strictly prohibited unless the vessel has a legally approved toilet facility.
18. Dinghies or rowboats, when not kept aboard the parent vessel, must be kept on the landside of the docks (subject to a rental fee) or at another place designated by the management.
19. No obnoxious, illegal or seriously offensive activities shall be carried on or within vessel or premises. Nor shall anything be done on the premises or common area which may interfere with the quiet enjoyment of each tenant or common area, or which shall increase the rate of insurance for the premises or cause insurance policy to be canceled or to cause a refusal to renew the same.
20. Garbage shall not be allowed to accumulate on the dock or fingers. It shall be placed in the covered trash containers at the top of the hill. Any disposal of hazardous material is strictly prohibited. Management reserves the right to charge boat owner special handling for materials that cannot be disposed of in a regular manner.
21. Customer shall not be permitted to keep on the premises any flammable, combustible or explosive material, chemical or substance, except such products required in normal minimal maintenance of vessel.
22. Any change in title, ownership or change of address of ownership shall be reported to management. Transfer of ownership of vessel does not transfer assignment of slip space or rental rate and need prior approval of management.
23. Parking at the marina is for boat owners only, you may have one vehicle per boat slip, all other vehicles shall be parked elsewhere (not on marina property or any easements Bay Front Marina has interest in). Any vehicles in violation will be subject to towing at vehicle- owner's expense. No vehicle shall be stored in any parking spaces. Likewise, no unlicensed, noisy or vehicles that leak oil shall be operated or stored on the premises.
24. On occasion, private events are held leaving the lower parking area closed for no longer than a 24 hour period.
